The Strategic Tender Manager may be based in any of our European locations. 
As a Strategic Tender Manager at AIT, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the international tender process from initiation to completion. You will work closely with various departments, including sales, operations, and legal, to develop competitive and strategic tender proposals that align with the company's objectives and contribute to its growth and success. A candidate that can make spend analyze through a thorough analytical view. Objective analysis uncovering anomalies, spot trends and identify opportunities in price reduction. 

Ability to manage the Tender network life cycle:

• Preparation and Planning: Lead the tender process, ensuring that all necessary documents, including RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs, are thoroughly reviewed, and that key milestones, delivery, and execution of the tender management process.
• Lead and Manage Tender outputs usable, accessible, transferable, and adaptable to Sales Representatives and Branch audience. Ensuring Scope of Service objectives are clearly defined and understood.
• Managing Transparency in Global Network Pricing with all modes, enabling Stakeholders and Sales Representatives to sell competitively to clients.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with various departments to gather information and data required for tender submissions, including sales, finance, legal, and subject matter experts.
• Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks and issues related to tender submissions and develop mitigation plans to ensure the company's interests are protected.
• Negotiation and Presentation: Represent the company in negotiations with clients or government agencies during the tender process. Prepare and deliver presentations to key stakeholders.
• Proposal Development: Lead the development and writing of high-quality tender proposals, ensuring they meet all requirements and convey the company's value proposition effectively.
• Identifying Opportunities and finding solutions to challenges through-out Supply Chain Network, improving lead times for end customers, and enabling sales growth.
• Compliance: Ensure that all tender submissions are fully compliant with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Win/Loss Analysis: Analyze the outcomes of tenders to identify areas of improvement and lessons learned to enhance future strategies.

• Actively work and support internal teammates to ensure a high level of performance across the entire organization while sharing ongoing process improvements.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office; Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Power bi (Intermediate, strongly preferred).
• Strong organizational skills including demonstrated ability to effectively organize and prioritize workload and manage in a multi-task environment.
• Understanding of values-led solution selling with the ability to inspire others.
• Minimum of 7 years’ experience within logistics supply chain environment
• Excellent math skills and accuracy in pricing by segment cost and roll up costs.
• Other duties and responsibilities will be assigned as business demands deem necessary
• Fluent oral and written English is a must.
• Additional (major) International languages would be an asset.
• Strong communication and excellent interpersonal skills (including telephone, e-mail, Zoom, Teams, and presentations skills) and the ability to communicate accurate information.
